The Wyke Down

The Wyke Down is a country pub on the outskirts of Andover. The early nineteenth-century barn has been extensively but sympathetically extended to provide a pub with an historical country feel, whilst offering an open modern experience.

Our spacious dining area is suitable for all occasions from family lunches to corporate functions.

There are dog-friendly areas, a games room with pool table and darts board, as well as a separate function room.

There is also an open sun-trapped conservatory overlooking the surrounding countryside and a large fenced garden with a children's play area, plenty of benches and loads of parking.

New Era

Tash has come from an hotel sales, marketing and events background, while Ben has run several bars and was a brewer for Dark Revolution in Salisbury.

We now want to combine our skills to provide you with a food-focused country pub offering a relaxed friendly service at a reasonable price, regular fun events and a great venue for family or corporate events, which we can help you plan.

We are open Tuesday to Sunday offering traditional pub food, fresh home-cooked dishes using locally sourced ingredients and a great selection of drinks which changes frequently whilst maintaining your favourites too.

We look forward to welcoming you

Great Drinks Served Well

As a free house Wyke Down offers a wide range of ales, ciders, lagers, wines and gins.

Real Ales

With a brewer at the helm we are proud of our real ales & how we keep them.

We usually offer 2 real ales. Typically, these are Fuller's London Pride plus a seasonal or guest beer, which changes regularly.

See our beer history shown above to give you a flavour of what you might expect to find on tap at the Wyke Down.

Drinks on tap may change at short notice.

Cider and Lager

For cider drinkers we have a still cider which changes regularly. Plus we have two Cornish Orchards ciders on tap too. Hedgerow made with juicy dessert apples & blended with dark fruits including blackberries and sloes and Gold made using a blend of bittersweet and dessert apples to give the cider body and crispness.

While lager drinkers can enjoy Fuller's Frontier London premium lager with bold, refreshing citrus notes, Amstell and Fosters lagers on tap.

Gins and More

We have a gintastic range of gins, which changes regularly and we also offer the full range of Fever Tree tonics for you to enjoy your perfect G&T.

We offer an extensive wine list serving the majority of our wines by the glass as well as by the bottle. All at a reasonable price.
